Hi friends! The last week of October is here, and there are plenty of ways to connect with our Greater EMC Chamber community. From our Leading Ladies Luncheon to new member ribbon cuttings and a little Halloween fun, this week brings opportunities to celebrate local businesses and spend time together.

And with November right around the corner, now is a great time to reserve your place at our next monthly luncheon or sign up for a firsthand look inside our local school districts.

Halloween Fun at The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center

A big thank-you to our sponsor, The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center, an independent living community bringing comfort, connection, and convenience to your loved ones.

On October 29, the community is hosting one of its favorite trick-or-treat events, with two time slots to choose from:

  • 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
  • 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Bring the kids in their costumes! Residents will be handing out toys and prizes, and parents can enjoy a coffee bar. There will also be a Halloween backdrop for those fun costume photos.

Tuesday: Leading Ladies Luncheon

We kick things off Tuesday with our Leading Ladies Luncheon, presented by Memorial Hermann Northeast.

A trio of panelists will be joining us, so make sure you have your tickets. It is a great opportunity to make connections and take part in one of this week’s featured Chamber gatherings.

Welcome Local Businesses at This Week’s Ribbon Cuttings

Help us give two businesses a warm community welcome this week. These celebrations are a chance to visit their new locations and show your support.

Wednesday: Ribbon Cutting for Kingwood Snack Bar

Join us for Kingwood Snack Bar’s ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. at its new location on Northpark. Come help us welcome the business to the community! Sign up here.

Friday: Ribbon Cutting for Topped Off RV Garage

We are keeping the seasonal fun going Friday with a Halloween-themed ribbon cutting for Topped Off RV Garage. The celebration takes place at its new location in Porter at 11:30 a.m. Sign up here.

November 4: Monthly Luncheon

Our November Monthly Luncheon is November 4, presented by McIlroy Insurance Group Employee Benefits. We will hear from Scott Burns, president and CEO of the Montgomery County Food Bank.

Along with our guest speaker, you can look forward to delicious food from Carrabba’s Italian Grill and a chance to win a prize courtesy of Edward Jones - Cameron Hayes.

Seats are filling up fast, so get your tickets now if you plan to join us.

November 5: Principal for a Day

Have you wanted a closer look at our local school districts? Principal for a Day takes place November 5, and spots are still available.

This free Inside EMC educational event offers a firsthand look at our local school districts. It is another way to get engaged with the community and learn more about the schools serving our area. Learn more or sign up here.
