Weekly Opportunities: October 2026, Week 3

Hi, friends! There are plenty of ways to connect, celebrate, and get involved with the Greater EMC Chamber this week. From a business networking breakfast to a luncheon featuring women leaders, our upcoming opportunities bring local businesses and community members together.

Here’s what’s coming up, plus a couple of dates to keep on your calendar.

Comfort, Connection, and a Veterans Breakfast

A big thank-you to our video sponsor, The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center. This independent living community brings comfort, connection, and convenience to your loved ones.

The Terraces also hosts a free veterans breakfast every third Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. It’s open to the public and offers an opportunity to meet fellow veterans and St. Michael’s Warriors while connecting with some amazing heroes.

It’s also a chance to get to know the community and take a tour of the facility.

Wednesday: The Great 88 Business Networking Breakfast

We kick off our Wednesday opportunities with The Great 88 Business Networking Breakfast, presented by ServiceMaster. Come ready to make connections and enjoy some breakfast fun!

Here’s your quick preparation checklist:

• Bring your business cards.
• Bring a friend.
• Have your 30-second business introduction ready.
• Don’t forget those door prizes. We all love a chance to win something!

Our spotlight sponsor is Chris McIlroy with McIlroy Insurance Group. You won’t want to miss what he has to share.

A Ribbon Cutting Right After Breakfast

Immediately following the breakfast, we’ll welcome Modern PURAIR North Houston to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting. Stay for the celebration and help give our new member a warm welcome.

October 27: Leading Ladies Luncheon

Our Leading Ladies Luncheon, presented by Memorial Hermann Northeast, is coming up on October 27. We’ll enjoy delicious food from Chachi’s Next Door and hear from a panel of women leaders.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to gather around the table, connect, and hear what these leaders have to share. Tickets are available now.

Thank You to Our Luncheon Sponsors

These events happen with the support of our sponsors, and we’re grateful to each of them:

• EFG Insurance
• Health in Progress
• Leadership Montgomery County
• FullScope Pest Control
• Spartan Roofing & Construction
• Lone Star Mailing & Printing
• Prudential Financial Advisors - David Harris
• J&R’s Ace Hardware
• Elite Hospital Kingwood

A special thank-you also goes to Flowers of Kingwood, our centerpiece sponsor.

November 5: Principal for a Day

Looking ahead, Principal for a Day is November 5. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about our East Montgomery County school districts and get to know an important part of our community.

Between networking, welcoming new members, hearing from women leaders, and learning about our schools, there are plenty of opportunities to stay connected. Details about these events and more are available on the Greater EMC Chamber website.

Have a vibrant and engaged week, friends. And happy Boss’s Day!
