There are plenty of ways to connect, learn, and get involved with the Greater EMC Chamber this week! From a happy hour ribbon cutting to a luncheon full of hard-earned lessons, our upcoming events offer opportunities to meet fellow members and engage with our community.

We also have an educational Medicare presentation coming up and a date to mark for Principal for a Day. Here’s what to put on your calendar.

A Free Medicare Update at The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center

Our weekly video sponsor, The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center, is hosting a Medicare update presentation to help you learn about changes for 2027.

  • Date: October 13, 2026
  • Time: 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Admission: Free and open to the public

This is an opportunity to get informed about upcoming Medicare changes. While you’re there, you can also schedule a tour of an independent senior living apartment. Visit The Terraces at Kingwood Town Center’s website for more information.

Celebrate Casa Julia with a Happy Hour Ribbon Cutting

Join us Thursday as we celebrate Casa Julia joining the chamber! Their happy hour ribbon cutting begins at 4 p.m. at their new location in New Caney.

Come help us welcome a new member and enjoy an opportunity to connect with our chamber community.

Leading Ladies Luncheon: Lessons Learned the Hard Way

If you haven’t registered for our Leading Ladies Luncheon, presented by Memorial Hermann Northeast, now is the time.

We have an amazing trio of panelists who will share lessons they learned the hard way. Those experiences are the heart of this luncheon: a chance to hear about challenges and the lessons that came from them.

You’ll also enjoy food catered by Chachi’s Next Door. With a thoughtful panel conversation and a delicious meal, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Save the Date for Principal for a Day

Principal for a Day returns November 5, starting at 8 a.m. This is a fun, educational opportunity to interact with New Caney ISD and Splendora ISD on a school campus and learn what each district is all about.

Breakfast and lunch will be catered by the school districts’ culinary departments, adding another connection to the students and programs that make these districts special.

It’s a chance to get to know our local schools through an on-campus experience and build a stronger connection with the education community.

A Week of Connection and Community

Details for these events and additional chamber opportunities are available at gemcchamber.com. Whether you’re welcoming a new business, learning from local leaders, or getting to know our school districts, there’s a meaningful way to get involved.

Have a vibrant and engaged week!
