Free disaster preparedness event with Community Assistance Center

On July 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., head to the East Montgomery County Community Center for a free disaster preparedness event designed to help families prepare, protect, and provide.

This disaster distribution event will include valuable support and practical resources, including:

• Emergency preparedness kits
• Fresh produce
• H-E-B gift cards
• Helpful community resources

It is all being offered through CAC, with support from United Way of Greater Houston and Verizon. That funding helps keep the event free and open to the community, which makes it a great opportunity for anyone looking to be more prepared during hurricane season and beyond.

Business Networking Breakfast presented by ServiceMaster

Wednesday’s Business Networking Breakfast, presented by ServiceMaster, is shaping up to be one of those events you do not want to miss.

If you have been looking for a way to make new business connections in New Caney and the Greater EMC area, this is one of the best places to do it. Bring your business cards, bring a friend, and make sure your 30-second introduction is polished and ready to go.
