Local Children Reunite With Fellow Patients And Caregivers At Kingwood Medical Center's 7Th Annual Nicu Reunion

General Ballistics, a California-based ammunition manufacturer founded by Vance Massih, broke ground on a 10,000 sq. ft. production facility on a 2.5-acre site on Nichols Road in New Caney within the East Montgomery County Industrial Park this week.

The Board of Directors of the East Montgomery County Improvement District voted at its December meeting to proceed with plans to build a new, larger facility in the 240-acre mixed use development known as the Valley Ranch Town Center.

Students from New Caney, Porter and Splendora high schools have completed their 10-week internships with EMCID and received $750 each at the December meeting of the Board of Directors held on the 8th.

The Board of Directors of the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID) presented checks to 14 agencies and organizations for 17 community development grants totaling $171,007.73.
