HOUSTON (March 9, 2016) – Lone Star College has named Amos McDonald and Helen Clougherty as vice chancellors. McDonald will serve as vice chancellor of Government and Public Relations. Clougherty will serve as vice chancellor and chief of staff.

Following a comprehensive and nationwide search, Memorial Hermann Health System has hired Daniel (Dan) Styf as its new Senior Vice President and CEO to lead its health plan business. Memorial Hermann Health Plans are backed by Memorial Hermann, a full-service system that has been advancing health in the Houston region for more than 100 years.

Six Lone Star College students shared stories of hardship, commitment and achievement during the 23rd annual Chancellor’s Breakfast presented by the LSC Foundation.

HOUSTON (Dec. 9, 2015) – The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Lone Star College for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ended Aug. 31.
